Pakistan Post has launched its Electronic Money Order (EMO) service at all General Post Offices (GPOs) nationwide, alongside the successful rollout of the Digital Franchise Post Office (DFPO) program, which empowers entrepreneurs to operate their own businesses. To enhance the quality of its logistic services, a state-of-the-art Digitalized Logistic Control Room (LCR) has been established at Pakistan Post’s Head Office, enabling the monitoring of mail transmission vehicles and generating management information systems for logistics. The Director General of Pakistan Post commended this initiative, emphasizing the potential for improved service quality and new business opportunities through technological upgrades. Additionally, during a recent visit by the Director General and Additional DG (Operations), the PPF management showcased the DFPO headquarters and control room, where they reported significant progress in establishing over 2,250 branches. In recognition of its advancements, Pakistan Post has improved its ranking in the Universal Postal Union, moving from 67th to 62nd position globally, while aiming for a top-five spot in the coming year. The successful launch of 1,000 DFPOs was also celebrated at an event attended by the Federal Minister for Communications, marking a significant milestone for the organization.
